Aaqib Javed is a former Pakistani medium fast bowler. He made his test debut at the age of 16. Though he was not regular in Test, He was regular in ODI format. Some says that he made his international career at the wrong time when Waqar and Wasim dominated the world cricket. He was Immensely talented cricketer.
Recently He completed four years as a coach of UAE national team. Just few days back he got a new job at Lahor Qalanders as Director of Cricket operations.
On the Hand, Heath Streak was a very successful bowling coach for Bangladesh for long time. Now he do not want to renew with contract with BCB. After Heath Streak era, BCB is looking for new bowling coach and contacted Aaqib Javed.
As Aaqib is just recently joined in a new rule, he decline the BCB offer. As there is no choice, BCB have to google for new coach.
